Building Together
When our team first came together in July 2001, the burning question we asked was, “How do we together reach our city or region, with the Gospel?” Over the next year the BrizNet team began working on this question—the answer was four fold:
- Together we can pray for every resident in the Greater Brisbane Region and beyond.
- Together we can bring the Gospel to every resident of the Greater Brisbane Region.
- Together we can help address and work to eliminate social ills from our community and bring hope, light and restoration to people’s lives.
- Together we can accomplish much more than we can alone.
Our goals and strategy:
- To pray through our citywide Concerts of Prayer (twice a year), leadership luncheons and Church Prayer Leader’s gatherings.
- To care through our Yes! We Care — Brisbane’s Biggest Neighbourhood Blitz(once a year).
- To share through engaging our communities as local congregations in explaining Christianity (at least once a year).
